The tutorial has changed dramatically since we started. Originally posted by EL_Din_46:Nadie is wrong about bots. You’ll see less of them as your battle count increases. Moderators have reported their use on the EU server as high as Tier IX. You’ll see bots less often during this time, but I have seen screenshots and replays of their being used on the NA server in Tier VII. However, when there aren’t enough players to form two seperate battles you may be placed into battles with more experienced players. You’ll face a mixture of other new players, bots, and, on some servers, possibly experienced players who consistently perform poorly. The number of people playing Blitz increased dramatically in 2020 and new player MM works better now.Ĭurrently, new player MM applies to players after the tutorial and when they have less than 5,000 battles. The smaller NA player base just didn’t make it possible very often. New player matchmaking tries to put new players into battles only with other new players when possible. I had said the same thing here and was corrected by Bellatormonk, I repeated that mistake in WG’s official NA forum, where Ribblestripe corrected me. We play on the NA server which had a smaller player base where new player MM did not often work. She is also wrong about new player matchmaking. Here’s WG’s description of the tutorial: When the battle is over, if you check their profile (by clicking on their name in the Battle Report/Teams and then Profile) you’ll see that they have no battle history - not even for the battle you just fought.

You’ll be facing nothing but bots for your first thirty battles, then a mixture after that, During a battle bots might follow a repetitive course and will always fire at the center mass of their target.
